Drone strike 2009.09.30 in N. Waziristan
http://www.thenews.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=24779

In full:

MIR ALI: Yet another US missile attack took place in the North Waziristan
Agency on Wednesday, killing six people and injuring another two. The drones
fired missiles at two vehicles in the Naurak area, a few kilometres away
from the Mir Ali town.

Sources said Arab nationals were among the dead but there was no
confirmation from the Taliban or the government officials in the area.
Following the attack, the number of missile strikes by the US spy planes
during September rose to six in North Waziristan. Unofficial figures
suggested that a total of 50 people were killed in the attacks and dozens of
others suffered injuries.

Though tribal sources said two vehicles were hit in Wednesday's missile
strike, another source in the area said the missiles were fired at a Taliban
compound in Naurak. The source said the compound was used by militants loyal
to the Pakistani Taliban commander and head of the militants' Shura for
North Waziristan Hafiz Gul Bahadur.

On Tuesday, the US drones fired missiles at two places in North and South
Waziristan. In total, 12 people were killed in the two attacks, raising the
number of casualties to 18 in three attacks in 24 hours.

AFP adds: A security official said eight militants were killed in the drone
attack. "It was a US drone attack which targeted a compound in the Naurak
area in North Waziristan," the official said, adding: "The death toll in the
strike is eight, including three Arabs, one Uzbek, one Chechen and three
local militants."

Another security official confirmed the attack and death toll, telling AFP
that the Taliban militants were holding a meeting in the compound at the
time of the attack. "It is not clear if there was any high-value target," he
added.
