Geo: 2 in-laws of Beitullah tortured and killed by the Taliban
From "The News", Pakistan, 2009.09.17 local time:

PESHAWAR: Two, among six detained in-laws of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban
Pakistan (TTP)'s slain chief Baitullah Mahsud, have died here under Taliban's
custody.

Earlier, Taliban had kidnapped six in-laws of Baitullah over charges of
alleged spying for US forces, Geo news reported on Wednesday.

According to UK television channel, following the slaying of Baitullah in US
drone attack, Taliban had picked up six close relatives of him including his
father-in-law Molana Akraamuddin and nephew Iqbal Mehsud.

According to his relatives, Taliban told them that Iqbal Mehsud had died of
heart failure and assured family members of provision of his dead body,
meanwhile, government sources termed two deaths as the result of brutal
torture.

Notice how the BBC writer quickly changes the subject away from the headline
"Taliban 'kill' Mehsud relatives". They don't mention the torture until near
the end of the piece.
