Marriott Hotel, Pakistan bombed
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/7627135.stm

A massive bomb attack has hit the Marriott Hotel in Pakistan's capital,
Islamabad, killing at least 40 people.

The BBC's Barbara Plett, who is at the scene, says the blast created a 20ft
(6m) deep crater, and destroyed the entire front section of the hotel.

.........

The explosion is thought to have been caused by more than a tonne of
explosives. Police are warning that the hotel could collapse.

.........

A huge area of the 290-room hotel remains on fire hours after the explosion.

The BBC's Barbara Plett says the emergency services have been unable to
reach the upper floors of the hotel, where more people are feared to be
trapped.

The place was known for it's good security too. The terrorists couldn't get
near the place, so they just used a bigger bomb. There's ingenuity at work.

Do you think it was a bigoted strike against Mormons; an over-the-top
protest about the rates for a room; canny rival hotel employees
drumming up some lucrative business for the flocks of investigators
and the other types of seekers of truths that will all require food
and lodging whilst investigating the elimination of a competitor?

Well, I think if I were a Western journalist covering this story I think
I'd give any major hotels a miss.

I don't get why they chose the end of Ramadan when there were 200 Muslims
having something to eat after their fast to blow the place up.

Fox News have heard that the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were
due to be at the Ramadan dinner, but the plan was changed at the last
minute.

I'd definately be a nervous journalist! Have you seen the crater? 30 feet
wide and around 25 feet deep. You could put a roof on that hole and live in
it.

Someone must have qualified for a bulk order discount on explosives.

I do not have parts left over that should not be - ever. On a

I was once in hostpital with someone who kept having parts left over when he
did a bit of do-it-yourself... his fingers. He'd already had to have a
thumb re-attached on account of someone calling his name while he was using
a power saw.

I think he took inspiration from this guy...

* The silence is deafening*

No Robin or Hippy popping up here to cynically inquire how many innocent
children were blown up, I wonder why ?

If this was a Predator attack and 18 terrorists were blown up, along
with say 3 females and 4 children, they'd be here screaming bloody
murder ... But muslim radicals can attack a soft civilian target with
the sure advance knowledge that dozens of innocents will die [and they
did..] - And all we get is an uncharacteristic wall of silence from
Hippy, and a smart ass mocking wisecrack from Robin about his ruined
dinner plans, which as good as says he is damn glad it happened. Just
made your day, did it ?

Pretty damn pathetic, and if someone near and dear to you ever meets
with a violent end, I hope you will be prepared to hear some jokes about
it, sick motherfucker.

In the mean time, have a look around here http://www.unseenwar.com/ and
lets see if you are still in the laughing mood.

Well, it shows that the intelligence apparatus of the terrorists is
limited! Or that their communication is limited!

Let me enlighten you.

I don't expect terrorists to care about how many kids they kill.

I do expect those who claim to be the good guys, and to be operating on
behalf of the innocent, to care a great deal and take every precaution to
avoid civilian death and injury. I don't expect them to descend into the
gutter and behalf like terrorists themselves, and then turn round and claim
that they are defenders of civilisation.

And if, as you claim, you have done military service, you would know that.

Because no one is trying to sell this bombing and murder as a "good thing"
and everyone except those behind it can see that it isn't.

That is in contrast to American actions where it seems you are entirely
happy to see innocent children murdered because I don't hear a peep out of
you when they are, and you and others cheer on that American murder
regardless of how many innocent people are killed.

For comparitative purposes; how many innocents were killed in the Marriott
Hotel murder ( seems to be somewhere between 40 and 60, possibly higher )
and how many innocents have been killed in US attacks carried out on
Pakistani territory ?

I look forward to your answer as it will show whether you actually care
about murdered innocents or were just angling for some cheap point scoring.

Oh fuck you right there you sanctimonious little bastard - You
personally mocked the death of innocents, has nothing to do with who
killed who.
You more than gave yourself away by crudely poking fun at victims of
muslim extremists - You have evolved into the biggest fan boy of
terrorists on this board, and now you make a cheap attempt to cover your
tracks.

Had you any shame or conscience, you would feel lower than whale shit
for what you said, and now you just try to stutter your way out of it.

Dozens of people brutally murdered, no doubt dozens more terribly maimed
and perhaps clinging to life as we speak - Hundreds of concerned family
members and friends, some perhaps could even reading here, grieving and
praying.
And your thoughts about all of this ?
Well gee, there goes my breakfast plans, ha ha !

Remarkably heartless and intentionally crude, by any standards - And I
request that you man up and either admit that you fucked up by not
thinking before you post and make light of mass murder, or admit that
you are in fact glad that they are dead.

Such an outburst of self-righteous indignation on behalf of dead Muslims is
very welcome, dear boy.

I do hope we shall hear more of you in this vein when your US drones kill a
few more. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

You couldn't find a post of mine expressing glee over dead children if
your life depended on it, so you might as well stop that angle -
Particularly since your idealogical soul mate Robin is guilty of just
that in this very thread.

I suppose if you knew the answer you would have posted it, and you
expect me to know ... Why ?

In any case, we would first have to agree on a definition of "innocents".
I could issue a disingenuous blanket condemnation as per your style " I
condemn the death of all innocents" blah blah, but I prefer to be a
little more precise than that.

I'm doubting that they were all muslims ... In any case, your refusal to
man up is no surprise, the shameless obviously have no shame.
I wish you would try holding your breath, about 40 minutes would do.

I never said you made such posts but a brave attempt to go off at a tangent.

The point is that you never complain of any deaths of innocent children by
US forces and yet you complain that others do not criticise the deaths of
innocent children here. You're a hypocrite Jesse, always have been, always
will be.

> In any case, we would first have to agree on a definition of "innocents".

You are talking of "innocent children" and that's not really hard to define.

> I could issue a disingenuous blanket condemnation as per your style " I

No, you prefer not to say anything at all. How can anything be more precise
than, "I condemn the death of all innocents" ?

You are explicitly saying there are deaths of innocents you won't condemn.
That's precisely my point. You have no worry or concern over the death of
innocent people, that's fine in your book. Just like it is in the
terrorists' book. You are exactly the same as they are Jesse.

You said that I am entirely happy to see innocent children murdered,
either prove it with my past words or STFU

Fair enough, then by your very own definition you are a hypocrite as
well, and a world class one.
But we already knew that.

I said "innocents", moron.
Do try to work on your reading comprehension, especially if you are quoting.

Very precise - For those not familiar with your word play, bullshit
tactics and past history.
To those of us who are, its nothing but a disingenuous blanket
condemnation as per your style, as already stated.
Merely your cheap attempt to claim some form of impartiality with 0
commitment, nothing more, nothing less.

> You are explicitly saying there are deaths of innocents you won't condemn.

Yes.
Aren't you going to ask who, and why ?
Seems you are getting a bit wary, sense some kind of snare coming up ?

I said, "it seems you are entirely happy to see innocent children murdered",
it's in the paragraph above. Perhaps you'd STFU but keep digging your hole
if you want to. You seem determined to prove your lack of comprehension
skills today.

Which deaths of innocents will you not condemn ? Which innocents do you
believe are deserving of death ?

Or if you're going to pedantic, yes, "who and why".

> Seems you are getting a bit wary, sense some kind of snare coming up ?

Seems to be your over-active imagination at work. I'm not wary of anything
( except your usual shenanigans of deliberately twisting things and knowing
your lack of comprehension skills means that even the simplest most obvious
statement can be or will be misinterpreted when you read it ). I don't sense
any kind of snare coming up. Perhaps you'll enlighten me, maybe even
surprise or impress me, with such a snare but I doubt it.

Sorry hip, not in the mood for your childish hijinks today.
Sometimes I actually am, not today though.
You are proving yourself perfectly incapable of an adult debate, I will
not be the one to indulge you.

Seems you've belatedly realised if there are any snares you have set them
for yourself and have decided to bale out. You're a joke Jesse.

Not that it matters; your views are a matter of public record now.

Sorry to intrude, I am a long time lurker, names Joe USA.
I cannot help but to comment on the level of intellegence and patience,
common sense and righteous patriotism that Jesse consistantly shows.
He is by far the best poster here, his posts are always accurate and make
perfect sense, unlike the majority of muslim loving, leftist whining trash
here.

I cannot see, Jesse, how you lower yourself to attempt debate with a gutter
dweller like Hippy, but I give you much credit for trying to enlighten this
common, lowly, mentally challenged knave.
He seems the type of guy that would need step by step instructions on how
to leave his bed if it was on fire [And thats assuming that he even has a
bed!] ... But your constant efforts to enlighten the weak of heart and
criminally naive don't go unnoticed, I can assure you.

If you ever write a book or, better yet, run for public office, be sure to
post your intentions, I am very sure of your success.
A man of your intellect and charactor can pick and chose - And that you
chose to apply your efforts here on hopeless metal basket cases is greater
than Mother Theresa feeding the destitute masses of 3rd world refuse, and
speaks volumes of your kind heart, superior mind and benevolent,
enlightening personality !

THREE CHEERS FOR JESSE HURRAH !! HURRAH!! HURRAH!!
NO MAKE THAT FOUR HURRAAAHHH !!!

For he's a jolly good fellow,
For he's a jolly good fellow,
For he's a jolly good fellow,
Which nob'dy can deny.
Which nob'dy can deny.
Which nob'dy can deny.
For he's a jolly good fellow,
For he's a jolly good fellow,
For he's a jolly good fellowwwwwww,
Which nob'dy can deny.
