Ankara blows out another PKK cave in Iraq
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7566322.stm

Where's the global outcry against the violation of Iraqi sovereignty? LOL.
If the raid hadn't been announced by the Turks themselves, I'll bet nobody
in Baghdad would be aware of it even now.

Speaking of sovereignty, the Taliban in Bajaur claim to be taking artillery
fire from the Afghan side of border -- and they sure know the direction to
Afghanistan.

=====

Off topic, there is an anti-Iran piece from "Atiyat-Allah" on the al-Qaida
forums since about the start of August. He's unhappy about Iran's recent
doings in /Lebanon/. Northern Lebanon is the seat of the Qaida-style group
Fatah al-Islam, and Tripoli hosts additional Sunni psychos including Omar
Bakri al-Londonistani. Hizbullah, mentioned in the AQ article, has taken
over part of Tripoli in recent days (with no global hubbub over Iran's
violation of Lebanese sovereignty; "Lebanese Hizbullah" is headquartered in
Tehran, not in Lebanon).

Atiyat-Allah could be this Libyan:

If so, he presumably is no longer in Iran. Indeed, the new article on the
forums complains about Iran kicking out certain Sunnis over the years.
Getting kicked out himself may have pissed him off. Arabs hate to lose face.

If anybody knows the real name of Abdur-Rahman al-Faqir of the senior AQ web
forums, please let me in on it. "Faqir" means poor or mendicant.
