Wow. imagine the bold Ray promoting someone who is an enemy of the Catholic
Church. She has torn up a picture of John Paul II on live American TV, she
called him "evil". She has even been ordained by an excommunicated bishop
but worst of all..........she is a self proclaimed "lesbian"!! Ya know Ray?
One of them female homsexuals! Maybe you like a bit of dyke action and it's
only the gay guys you hate...........................feckin' wanker!

Your an evil, nasty, little man aren't you?! Did you dig up any dirt to throw
at the Chieftians? That's about par for your gutterminded thinking!

Did it ever occur to you to separate the politics from the singer? No? Thought
not... It's just not *in* you to do that!

No. As a protest against the child sex abuse scandals wracking the
catholic church, O'Connor changed the word 'racism' to 'child abuse'
while singing Bob Marley's 'War', ending the song by tearing a photo
of JPII over the final word 'evil', before looking into the camera
saying 'fight the real enemy'...

It's been interpreted both ways, AFAIK she never made it really clear what
she was protesting about but according to her website it as about abortion
and divorce.

http://www.sinead-oconnor.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=162&Itemid=179
http://tinyurl.com/259f2w

She also claimed to have had two abortions though I'm not sure whether she
retracted that or not - she did claim on another occasion that her record
company pressurised her to have an abortion but she refused.

A very talented but very disturbed young woman.

""Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like
whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are
full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness".

sounds to me like He was describing people like you Ray my boy!
