A cliche is NOT a word/phrase subject to
misinterpretation! A cliche is a phrase which
has been used so many times/by so many
people that it has lost all its emotional impact
(which is WHY it is frowned upon in good writing)
... [Or a word which in its context is sucked dry
of that human touch/impact essential in all
great/good composition.] Now, if your hack had
written "like a monkey crapping from a string
of branches while trying to outrun the tolling of
Taco Bell." Now, that would've made me double

"grapes" ... "of sweet grapes" ?!
You are obviously in love with killing
and imag-ine it to be sweet as grapes!
You must be one of those Muslims
who longs for the murder of all humans.

Look: First things first. Get yourself
a dictionary and look up "cliche."

Lord, if you are boasting of your use of
cliches (!) ... you may need somebody to
explain to you what a dictionary is!

I'm sure when Heine used it it was an unusual
usage--perhaps even unusual enough that
it was NOT a cliche then, for Heaven's sake!

Good writing is NOT "when the subject matter
is one you agree with." Although sometimes
a subject matter you disagree with might be
found within some writing you realize is pretty
good writing ... this is peculiarly unusual.
The usual thing is for liberals to imagine that
only liberal writing/writers is/are any good
and for conservatives to imagine that only
conservative writing/writers is/are any good! [sic]
Surmount this human frailty, and then you may
yet get to be somebody. [Maybe... probably not.]

It wouldn't be "moving" to me if you inserted my
Momma with an Ak-47. It's a bad dead piece of
hackneyed writing. Live with it. Move on to your
laundry, or whatever... drink more coffee.

There are NO degrees of orthodozy in Islam:
There is only the Koran. There are some Muslims
who understand the Koran (bin Laden), and
there are other Muslims who haven't even read it
or had it explained to them... and they are the
so-called "moderates." But see a Muslim getting
to know his Koran and watch an al-Qaida recruit
going through training camp. PERIOD.

My "axe to grind" it trying to save innocents

spare time on a towel praying to The Great God
Mofongo or whomever, or getting shot in the
kneecaps for watching your beloved Flintstones.

Christian orthodoxy is giving all your money to
the poor, or tending the unfortunate, or maybe
loving the MoFKER who raped your 4-year-old.
Jewish orthodoxy is not eating certain foods and
not frequenting whorehouses on certain days.
Muslim orthodoxy is butchering non-Muslims
so their property can be stolen, their wives,
mothers, and daughters raped (that is the Hamas
charter and dream: to murder all the Jews of
Israel and steal their all). Islam is a "religion"
that turns people into dangerous psychopaths.
If the world goes mad it will be ruled by Islam.

Raping young/little virgins male/female is the
most perverted dream of the most woefully sick
bastards that have ever lived (and Mohammed knew
exactly what sort of monsters he was brain-washing
into following him). But it is not the only reward
offered to the miscreants who become the most
faithful, most orthodox Muslims of all. This is why
the rewards of Paradise are unlimited (one can
literally NOT/NEVER AGAIN commit a sin in Muslim
Paradise... for there one's most perverse/perverted
degenerate fantasies can be one's rewards forever.
It's EXACTLY like going to Hell as one of Satan's
favorites, with your own personal monogrammed
red hot pitchfork for all eternity. Is it any wonder
these young Muslim criminals are so eager to
murder/butcher all the innocents they can in order
to damn their way into Mohammed's demon bosom!
Islam is the most nightmarish cult ever devised.
And it's coming to a neighborhood near you:
Good luck. You're gonna need it.

Don't be too sure here either:
I've had conversations with myself
and they usually go like this:
--Heyah! Some-a-body grab-bed my-ya asse!
--Youha grab-bed yo owna asse!
--Wella: I'ma soma-body! Ah-No? *

Is what George wrote poetry? Is it commentary
on poetry? I believe the latter is true, since my
original post qualifies as one of those meandering
dreary prose poems (read it below). Albeit, as
commentary, Geoge's is rather pathetic and
pretty pointless. This guy shows no brains here
--like too many posters in these groups.
> Paul Heslop wrote: "because he is a stirring shit

Now, this, on the other hand, shows some wit. It
might even quality as both epigram AND commentary.
It is, unfortunately, too vulgar to ever gain anything
for the writer (outside of my praise). But at least
it's not on the level of the usual total waste of brain
the occasional reader of these groups is forced to
endure, for Heaven's sakes.
Good writing is NOT "when the subject matter is
one you agree with," sometimes a subject matter
you agree with is found within some good writing
too! Although this is usually a stunning surprise.
[Now, try to find the sarcasm there, guys.]

Yes... They just GOTTA bite the bullet and let the
Palestinians butcher them all. Aren't those darn
Israelis being a bit obstinate!... I mean, they
continually thwart suicide bombers & now they went
after those poor Hamaseans for firing a few thousand
rockets into their country--When is it going to stop!?
[For those with IQs -15, this is sarcasm. Look it up]
1humanity wrote: Here is how Bush, and inhumane
Israeli regime and its supporters in the US define
"democracy" [following which Mr. Rodrian explains
these "rules" for a more perfect understanding]
Rule #1: In the Middle East, it is always the
Palestinians that attack first, and it's always Israel
who defends itself. This is called "retaliation".
Rule #1: Everywhere in the world it is always the
criminals who attack first, and it's always the forces
of law & order who defend themselves. This is called
"the cops going after the criminals."
Rule #2: The Palestinians are not allowed to kill
Israelis. This is called "terrorism".
Rule #2: The criminals are not allowed to kill cops.
This is called "against the law" (everywhere in the
world).
Rule #3: Israel has the right to kill Palestinian
civilians; this is called "self-defense", or
"collateral damage".
Rule #3: The police has the right to kill criminals
and the "civilians" who aid them; this is called
"self-defense," or "collateral damage" (if the
civilians are merely in the way of police cars in hot
pursuit, including little girls and slow old people,
or their water pistols look real to the cop).
Rule #4: When Israel kills too many Palestinian
civilians, the Western world calls for restraint. This
is called the "reaction of the international
community".
Rule #4: When the police kill too many civilians, the
whole world calls for restraint. This is called the
"reaction of a community too lazy to read more than
just the headlines about the perticular incidents."
Rule #5: Palestinians do not have the right to capture
Israeli military, not even 1 or 2.
Rule #5: Criminals do not have the right to capture
policemen, not even 1 or 2. Live with it.
Rule #6 : Israel has the right to capture as many
Palestinians as they want (around 10,000 to date being
held without trial). There is no limit; there is no
need for proof of guilt or trial. All that is needed
is the magic word: "terrorism".
Rule #6 : The police have the right to capture as many
criminals as they want (around 2,000,000 in the U.S.
federal prisons to date--and, certainly, lots more
than 10,000 Americans are awaiting trial here). There
is no limit, there is no need for proof or trial. All
that is needed is the magic word: "pedophile." (The
principle is the same: there are criminals who are
just so dangerous that they must be jailed even when
all of the legal nicities are not observed. The
alternative is totally unacceptable to all but to
pedophiles, Muslims, and Paliestinians, of course.)
Rule #7: When you say "Hamas", always be sure to add
"supported by Hezbollah, Syria and Iran".
Rule #7: When you say "Mafia," always be sure to add
"supported by Vito, Don Chicho, and You-Know-Who."
Rule #8: When you say " Israel", never say "supported
by the USA, the UK, European countries and even some
Arab regimes", for people (God forbid) might believe
this is not an equal conflict.
Rule #8: When you say "the police" never say
"supported by "principled people or even those for
whom it is occasionally convenient that there not be
total mayham in the streets," for people (God forbid"
might believe this is a struggle with, whatchacallit
... "disproportionalities").
Rule #9: When it comes to Israel, don't mention the
words "occupied", " territories", "UN resolutions",
"Geneva conventions". This could distress the audience
of Fox, CNN, WP, etc.
Rule #9: When it comes to the police, don't mention
the words "in control," "police districts," "UN
resolutions," "Geneva conventions." This might
awaken from their naps audience of Fox, CNM. WP. etc.
Rule #10: Israelis speak better English than Arabs.
This is why we let them speak out as much as possible,
so that they can explain rules 1 through 9. This is
called "neutral journalism". (We see it all the time
in WP!)
Rule #10: Cops speak better English than criminals.
This is why we let them speak as much as possible, so
that they can explain rules 1 through 9. This is
called "neutral journalism." (We see it all the time
in WP's Smallville!)
Rule #11: If you don't agree with these rules or if
you favor the Palestinian side over the Israeli side,
you must be a very dangerous anti-Semite. You may even
have to make a public apology if you express your
honest opinion.
Rule #11: If you don't agree with these rules or if
you favor the criminal side over the side of law &
order, you must be a very dangerous psychopath. You
may even have to make a public apology if you express
your honest opinion (to a judge AND to your personal
psychiatrist).
