Bernard Matthews adverts sought
I'm after a video of a late 80s (maybe early 90s) Turkey Drummers advert.
It's one with all the cubs out camping, or something. There's a few ads on
the BM website, but not this one.
Anyone have one, or know where one might be?
(No, Lister, I'm not a paedophile and so don't want it to look at young boys)

sorry, I can't help, but I used to love Turkey Drummers- do they still do
them? If they do I think I may have an Eighties night with my mates and try
and get hold of some of my fav. food as a kid. Here's what i plan (thinking
as I type!)
Film: Legend
Telly: My DVD with stuff like Button Moon, Postman Pat and my dvd of Thomas
The Tank Engine (yeah, a girl who loved Thomas TTE)
Soundtrack whilst eating:
Best of Wham
Top gun soundtrack
Fame soundtrack
(mix of all these)
Food:
Starter: Heinz Big Soup (beef one)
Main:
Turkey golden Drummers (If they still exist)
Alphabites
Mushy Peas
Spaghetti hoops
Dessert:
Screwballs (those ice cream things with a bubble gum ball at the bottom of
them)
After 8 mints
Attire:
Straight legged trousers/dungarees/jumpers with jazzy patterns on/ra-ra
skirt
(trying frantically to remember what i wore as a kid)
I'm looking foward to this! Any other suggestions?

Yes. Send me an invite! :-)
That all sounds very, very cool indeed.
I think possibly some playtime should be set aside for playing with
Transformers, My Little Pony, Masters of the Universe, Sylvanian Families,
Cabbage Patch, and other classic toy products.

They do still exist, in fact my flatmate had some the other day. Grey meat =
good meat. They are the finest, although I think Jamie 'fat tongue' oliver
would have something to say about them.

You know, if you want to get this group going seriously, a big 80s party for
everybody might not be such a bad idea.
Wonder if we could hire the studio set for 'The Tube' or something. If it
still exists?

They should bring back all these classic 1980s products. I reckon they'd all
make loadsa money now.
Who wouldn't want to drink Quatro, or New York Seltzer? Or Cresta Cream
Soda?
Also we can't have this party unless we have a big supply of Treets and

Deep space 9, yes trek, not crap though...
Morn was a permanent resident of a barstool at Quark's... He never said a
single word on screen and became a bit of an in joke... People walking out
of the bar shaking their heads saying "Doesn't he ever shut up?" and

It was a running gag.
He'd been in the series from the first episode right through to the end.
I almost expected him to speak in the final episode but even then he didn't.
And no, it wasn't rip roaringly funny, but so what?

Pfft, I had time to do all of those things, especially Star Wars figures and

What I don't understand is why 83 different people were allowed to tenderly
fuck the whale, before it died.
Oh, wrong froup.
Fuck, I don't care.

Me again but with new ISP.
Dangermouse!!! I loved Penfold and Baron Von Greenback
If i had a bigger flat you could all come to my party lol, there's barely
enough room for me and the 2 cats though. It will be standing room only
with just the 8 friends I have coming round on the 19th Feb.
Getting the toys out and having a play is an excellent idea. I've asked my
mates to bring some 80's toys if they have any lurking round in there
parents attics or anything, and I'm searching ebay as i want to re-start my
My Little Pony collection, and I'd also like Sheldon Keeper.
This is going to be fun!!

My flat's even smaller. There's only room for one and a half cats, and that
gets really quite messy. Ick.

Hayley, Hayley, Hayley, I really do think you should tell your eight friends
that they're not allowed, and invite us instead.
Or maybe, we could get a giant Optimus Prime out of Transformers to distract
your eight friends, then bundle them all into an A-Team van and drive them
away, then Lister and me can attend your party.

Yeah, if you're lucky enough to be invited. *sulk*
