Cover Suggestions
I'm trying to think of some 80's songs that could be covered. So far,
I've got Wouldn't It Be Good. but I'm looking for more punk stuff. Any
ideas?

Billy Idol'd be good, but not Siouxie. Male voice, you see. I'm
trying to save them from being Yet Another Boy Band by getting a
female keyboard player.

My band has done Camouflage vaguely successfully with me singing lead.
Another one that always gets the crowd going is 'Africa', perhaps the
greatest song of the 1980s (and indeed all time).

As far as I know, no. Though their song "Hold The Line" might be about
cocaine? :)

Why did you order a CD just to listen to a song you don't even know? FFS
man, use the preview feature on Amazon / Itunes, etc. Saved me a fortune,
that has.

Indeed it was, though, at the time of posting, I'd just finished listening
to one of those Telstar LPs which just happened to feature it. It's a class
tune. I inadvertantly recorded it, as I'd left the video on to record
something a bit later, and there was some brilliant tunes on there.

"Monsters And Angels" by forgotten songsters Voice Of The Beehive was the
highlight for me. I adore that song.

In fact, the whole of the show was great.

Back to the song suggestions... "Kiss Me" by Stephen Duffy?

Their song "I Won't Hold You Back" anso provided the vocal sample from
