Shame they couldn't've got some from earlier.

I heard some RJ&F (and, let's not forget, before them it was Rod, Jane and
Roger!) stuff on the web the other day for the first time in years, and
musically it's pretty good with nice harmonies'n'shit. The musicianship was
probably wasted on the target audience though.
Wish I could find the link now. I think there were actually some RJ&F albums
released in the 80s, from which these songs were taken.

Um. Wasn't that Erma Franklin?
I assume you mean something along the lines of "I hear the beat of your
heart (oh, you're so far away.... I hear the rhythm, I hear the beat of
your heart".
And who can forget "We're joining the dots for yooooou"....
Still, they must have had an impact. It's at least 12 years since they were
last on telly, and I still remember some of their tunes.
I feel so dirty.

Come to think of it, you may be right.
It'd make more sense that way.

Indeed. I somehow doubt there's an online resource of this video is there?

Nope.... But Jeffrey... He's the dictator of a small african country now.
I saw in on telly last night (Zippy and George's puppet legends) so it must
be true.

the royalties from Rainbow.... :)
