Is anybody out there??
Hi. I'm Hayley and a child of the 80's :)
Here in no particular order is my list of favourite things:
My little pony- Peaches- I had the beauty parlour stable thing, and I always
remember she had this yellow sunhat.
Keepers: I had Sheldon the turtle, and the little thing was called
nightlight. Sheldon was purple, and Nightlight glowed in the dark
Gloworms: I always wanted the big thing, with the green fabric body, but I
never got one. I did have a couple of the glow in the dark plastic things.
Teddy Ruxpin: I used to dream about owning one. Unfortunately with were
"noveux" poor, so I never got one (though I've seen them on ebay recently
but think at 26 I'm a bit to old for one now)
Superted. He was the best...Spotty was good too...
Jamie and the magic torch: I used to love the theme tune
The bangles: Manic Monday...
I could go on and on, but being as this is my first post here and I'm not
sure whether I've got the protocol right I'll shut up now :)

I must've been away somewhere.
Anyway
Seeing as this group doesn't have a webpage (as far as I can remember)
I'm thinking of writing one. Would anyone like to submit
articles/pictures for the site? It can be about anything, as long as
it happened between 1980-1989

I have quite a few bits and bobs on childrens telly in the 80's which i
wrote a few years ago whilst being bored as a studenr (lot more interesting
then discussing Becks depression inventory)
There was a site a few years ago (www.sausages.net?) the link doesn't work
which had a load about kids telly.
I am not working at the moment due to some pretty crap stuff happening so
have way to much free time on my hands so would be great to contribute
something to the www :)
and,i'm sure i've seen you nick Lister, before in another group (i think it
would have been either a bbc radio 5 group or a neighbours group
anyways, hi :)

It was never a "fine" mullett... or indeed any kind of mullett...

Ah yes, you're the same Hayley that was in the Neighbours group!
Small world, eh?
iirc the site you're looking for is www.sausagenet.com - I'd forgotten
that place existed. Anyway, I'd love your articles, and I'll try and
do some sort of logo in photoshop/imageready. I want to try and make
it look old-skool, if you see what I mean.

What we really need, to pull in more people, is a web presence.
If someone wants to provide text/images, I could knock up a quick
webpage for the group in Dreamweaver.
Or perhaps someone with more skill than me could come up with a better
one?

I have a couple of 80s kids tv quizzes if you'd like to incorporate them in
to the site.
I've also been revisiting dvds/videos of MASK, Jayce and the wheeled
warriors, visionaries etc. I could do some 21st century reviews.
