Hi!, to everybody !-)
Hi to everybody, I'm new for this newsgroup!

I come from it.cultura.linguistica.inglese over there nobody has got a
sat dish, everybody usually plays on sudoku or sometimes they watch pay
tv in english soundtrack. Not me, I'm not interested in pay tv programs,
I don't like sudoku, I'm not a translator, but I've some foreign
languages skill (english and french too).

As I deja dit, on it.cultura.linguistica.inglese, foreign skill are
special skills, if you don't use them, they'll drop down so I decided to
improve my english. I bought a sat dish with a dual feed receveir so
since december_07 I usually watch english tv programs. I've totally
erased the italian tv programs, so I usually spend at minimum 1 or at
max 3 hours per days on watching tv. Now I'm not wasting this time
because I usually watch foregin tv programs via sat dish. :) I like the
ree bouquet in english languages, they come from ASTRA 19"EST, EUTELSAT
13"EST trasponders.

My favourites programs are:
euronews, skynews, cnbc/closing_bells, cnn/business_international,
pentagon-channel, sometimes al_jazeera, bloomberg, kasat1, smile and
bbc.

bbc news is very interesting but you know english rhytms sometimes are
too british for me, so I prefere cnbc or cnn or pentagon-channel.

I also like 106FM or 107FM you know in italy sometimes it's possibile to
ear the afrts radio ;) nice music and firendly and cool english!

Well, my goals are:

1.A-take warm my Ist foreign language (english one), I'd like to
improve my oral comprehension. I get it ;)
1.B-take warm my IInd foreign language (french one, for the
moment I usually watch half or sometimes one hour per days) . Well the
bigger part of my time on watching tv, I usually spend it on cnbc, cnn,
euronews, skynews and pentagon-channel. Sometimes not, ya! sometimes not
at all :) I don't watch tv... you know ;) what I mean.

2-I'd like to improuve my accent, ya! my pronunciation is bad, so I hope
it could improuve, because when you can memorize and reconognize english
sounds, you know, you can play to emulate the same sounds on speaking.
But for the moment I'm emulating a "ghost recon" :) ya! you know, by sat
dish you can emulate a not interactive sojournee into foreign countries
in a very cheap way.

3-I'd like to improve my written english, ya! I know sooner or
later I have to take a look inside my old grammar book but for the
moment ;) I prefere to have fun on watching english programs. That's why
my written post are similar a conversations rather than a written post,
you know I'm playing for training, big fun! ;)

Ok, after this post, it looks like an :) inqury, here are my question :)

Is there anybody who is interested in this topic?

I'd like to stay here to speak about english topic and english tv sat
programs, cnbc/closing_bells, cnn/business_international, skynews and
sometimes bbc.news

Is anybody out there?

Ok, let's try one more time...

bbc/hard_talk is very interesting but you know english rhytms and very
british guest sometimes are too british for me ;) so I prefere cnbc or
cnn or pentagon-channel with friendly north_american rhytms.

I also like 106FM or 107FM you know in italy sometimes it's possibile to
listen the afrts radio ;) very cool music, and friendly english!

Well, my goals are:

1.A-take warm my 1st foreign language (english one), I'd like to
improve my oral comprehension. I get it ;)
1.B-take warm my 2nd foreign language (french one, for the
moment I usually watch half or sometimes one hour per days) .
