I am just starting up a UK based website which I hope will be a useful
place for writers to post their short stories for everyone to read and
offer constructive comments.  It has only been online for a few short
days, and already my first author has contributions online.

While the site will be mainly a categorised home of short fiction, I
also would like to offer the authors resources to help them with their
creations.

At the moment I am still writing some of the functionality within my
site (to come; Author and fan forums, author story management, anon
messaging system), and am just in the process of registering with
search engines and trying to drum up some cross promotion, as what my
site currently lacks is; the authors and their works! 

If you are a talented writer who wants to share your work with a wider
audience, then please drop by, take a look, and register yourself as a
member author.  Once that is done, you can send me your works to be
published. 

Or, if you enjoy reading the written word, you are also more than
welcome to drop by!

I wish you well, but it isn't what I'm looking for and I doubt it's what
many people are looking for. If people want to /publish/ on the web they
can (and I expect most will) simply publish on their own websites. What
I think there's a need for is a system that lets people /crit/ one
another's work without making it public - a system where a newcomer
can't simply sign up and immediately read, but has to submit something
first.

Anyboy else be interested in such a thing, it I tried to set it up?
