In a police state, are women better citizens than men?
Women are physically weaker, so easier to control.
Women take less risks and play the safe route, so more predictable.
Women have exhibitionist tendencies, so less objection towards being
monitored (some may actually like it and feel it makes them important)
Women have protectionist "motherly" instincts, so would be more
agreeable to a bloated government of non-jobs and excessive
regulation.
Women are less ambitious, so are less likely to vie for power.
Women are afraid of being vulnerable, therefore have fears that are
easier to manipulate.
Women want to feel protected, therefore will support "stronger" police
and the state.
Any other reasons why a matriarchal society is better than a
patriarchal one?

Who says being complacent and compliant is better? Besides, I think
you underrate women and overlook their hormones and instincts.
Suggest you watch one of the TV police programs where arrests are made
at pub turning out times and see how aggressive women can be against
authority. Some of the best campaigners are women.

I have an about even number of male/female friends.
Only one female opposes the database state and is an active member of
activist groups to this effect.
All the women I have cared to discuss the topic with are pro social
welfare, gun control, strong government, CCTVs, etc.
Most of the men I have discussed the topic with are mixed on the
above, with most of them anti-CCTV and pro gun control. Responses on
social welfare and strong government are mixed.
Of course the above is all anecdotal but with regard to women's traits
in my OP, I think few can argue that my generalisations above are
statistically true. How it translates into political agendas is of
course more debatable.

Women are physically weaker, so (in the absence of a community in which
men, women, young and old all simply have to get on together) are
likely to support a state which appears to take power from men.

The exhibitionists form the queues at modelling agencies and reality TV
producers. Many women feel insecure (see above) and are likely to
support a state which appears to promise them protection.

Parents of either sex are likely to favour a state which appears to
promise benefits (including jobs) to their offspring.
> Women are less ambitious, so are less likely to vie for power.
Women can be every bit as "ambitious" as men, but they work to achieve
their ambitions in different ways to men. While men tend to compete with
one another, women tend to encourage men to compete with one another,
then try to walk off with the winner. In more recent times, women have
encouraged the state to take power from men and give it to them directly.

Matriarchal societies benefit women in the short term. Patriarchal
societies benefit men in the short term. Neither are stable.

Never met a woman who doesn't believe in astrology and most other
paranormal bollocks. Spoon bending bastard face Urine Geller would win
by a landslide if he stood for PM.

Who said it's better? I would suggest that part of the reason for
broken Britain is the detrimental effect women have had generally on
society for the past four decades. What, actually, have women brought
to the table? All I see is a massive degree of friction caused by envy
and the inability to counteract that envy through endeavour.
A matriarchal society is a society on its way out. What society needs
right now is for men to assert themselves more and to not give in to
the "unfriendly persuasion" of political correctness that, by and
large, was created by women in order to big themselves up in their
quest to become men.

Add:
Women are far more socialist than men for the reasons you list.
They see the State and its police as their protectors.

Exceptions to the rule ...and they become more compliant as
they mature, especially if they have kids.

A question like that, about a sweeping philosophical
observation, is not something that an MP could even
begin to answer.
Rephrase your question into something specific about
present government policy, then send it by snail-mail
to Harriet Harman (Minister for Women and Equality).

I accept that having to rear kids usually ensures compliance, as does
having a mortgage.

Woman have more tolerance for a police state. Some of them actively want
