This seems excessive and against ACPO guidelines.

A 36-year-old man has been cautioned after police raided his home and
discovered drugs.
Officers raided the house on Bellhouse Road, Widnes, and arrested the man
on suspicion of possession of cannabis. He later received a caution.
It comes days after police cautioned another man for drug offences
following a raid in the area. advertisement
PC Janine Lea, of Cheshire Police, said: "This is part of ongoing efforts
to rid the community of drug use."

For the past 20-30 years or whatever there has been loads of doors
kicked and loads of people busted - and in some cases the police have
even taken loads of drugs off the streets .
Yet not only has nothing changed - if anything the amount of drugs
available in communitys and their availability has actually increased .
At least 'comical ali' in the gulf war was funny when he said the yanks
where getting whupped and being pushed back and repelled .

Illiterate police force strikes again..
They brought eight police vehicles to arrest seven harmless people
protesting against Israeli exporters Carmel Agrexco*, if only they'd
employed a spellchecker:

*Carmel Agrexco, half owned by the Israeli state, is Israel's largest
exporter of agricultural produce to the European Union. Much of its
fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs and other produce is grown and
packed on illegal Israeli settlements. The company is thus complicit
in war crimes under the International Criminal Court Act 2001. Carmel
Agrexco is a major supplier to UK supermarkets including Marks and
Spencer and Tescos.
