Depends what you mean by 'truth', no doubt the supporters of Lenin and
Hitler etc. also considered their pronouncements as the 'truth', OTOH
anyone who could see beyond the bullshit were just silenced... What Mr
Roberts didn't like was not how an opinion was being expressed but the
opinion being held, hence why he is a lair as he was/is trying to make
out that the opinion was being expressed in an abusive way.

Ah , you would be upset about the fact you said you were leaving a
certain forum site after stirring up lots of trouble , and trying to
make your opinion the only one allowed , and no one asked you to stay.

I don't think it was only Alan Roberts that disagreed with your
attitude ..................

Unless you or one of your fellow censors have fiddled with the content
or date stamp on my last message (if not having deleted it from the
public part of the forum), it will be clear to all who bother reading,
that I decided that I was not going to stick around in a group were
arrogant and abusive moderators hold so much power.

Well all that does is prove my point, only those who share the same
'truth' are allowed to air an opinion. The people with the attitude
are those who can't accept that others are entitled to an opinion.

This problem/attitude born was out of remarks that Bob C [1] made in
way back in the wake of 9/11 IMO - people where obviously discussing
the happening on that fatefully day - when someone dared to mention
something (the, alleged, predictions of Notradarmus) that BC doesn't
consider important or perhaps doesn't believe such predictions were
made he quickly acted to delete the comment and ban the user! One only
has to look at the number of registered users (those with posting
privileges) against the number of active users - 99% of whom follow
(either through choice or fear, I don't know) the same moderator/admin
chosen hymn-sheet - there must be over a 1000 registered users to date
but probably no more than 40 regular posters, now even accepting a
certain amount of 'churn' in the user base it's very clear that most
people are getting frightened off by the over barring moderation
policy (that has been decided between yourselves), all this on a forum
that doesn't require registration for *read only* access and were user
contributed content is the life of the forum... IOW why are so many
people joining in the wish to both read and contribute but few ever
do?

Sorry Alan and Garry but neither of you are going to admit that you
and your fellow mods are the cause and not the solution, it's also
quite amazing that whilst you ban/delete people for not sharing your
personal opinions you allow idiots (like Barry) to slag off their
customers in the wedding section were any Bride or Groom can read what
their <sic> oh so professional </sic> wedding video-grapher is saying
about them... I suppose it's down the individual if they want to
alienate their customer base but it doesn't show others up to well
either, so much for 'protecting the integrity of the forum...

I vastly under estimated that, the actual number of registered users
is over *14,000*...

No , but no point trying to put our opinion over , as you only believe
you are right , and that telling a moderator to 'FO' is a way to deal
with them.

No, I very much doubt that you do want to debate this, because you
know that anything you say will be proven as fact-less and worth-less
lies. Mr Roberts took exception to me returning the insult that he had
thrown in my direction...
