Camcorder exposure wrong
Hi,
my friend's camcorder has stopped exposing correctly. It is just always
overexposed and manual and auto has no effect.
Before I suggest a shop repair, can anyone offer an idea of what is wrong?
TIA

Most likly a mecanical/electrical error in the apreture.
If it is possible, try to adjust shutter speed manually. This can be done in
"manual" setting on most cameras.
If you get a darker picture with higher shutter speed, the apreture is the
problem.

Silly I know but are you sure he hasn't got the backlight or night-

Most likly a mecanical/electrical error in the apreture.
If it is possible, try to adjust shutter speed manually. This can be done in
"manual" setting on most cameras.
If you get a darker picture with higher shutter speed, the apreture is the
problem.
