OT - UK nuclear bombs safeguarded by bicycle locks
In the BBC News Magazine section there is the annual "100 things we
didn't know this time last year"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/magazinemonitor/index.html#a021616

No 62 states

62. Until the late 1990s, the RAF's nuclear bombs could be activated
using a bicycle lock key.

This links to

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/7097101.stm

The article is an interesting read and ends up saying

This report can be seen on Newsnight on Thursday, 15 November, 2007 at
10.30pm on BBC TWO

So, has anyone got a recording of this piece they could upload to a
suitable group?

Many thanks

Noz

I don't see the MI5 posts but they do tangle up the newsgroup somewhat.

After many complaints to the news servers I have not seen the
the raving idiots posts about MI5 since 02/01/2008 so hopefully
he's been zapped, at least until he finds a way around
it................
            .................fingers crossed everyone.
