BPA currency rules for experienced jumpers
I have a C licence but have had a break and haven't jumped for 2
years. Are there any restrictions in the UK on jumping again? thanks.

Hi
There is nothing in the operations manual to document any restriction
and in theory you can get straight back into it now.
Your CCI would want/like to know that you are making a come back and
they would probably ask you if you if you'd like a refresher on
emergency drills. They'd certainly arrange for you to have a new
briefing on the drop zone procedures because these may have changed
(landing circuits, exit order for different disciplines, JM procedures
etc). I'm sure you'd be happy to have this.
Years ago CCIs used to ask returners to do a short delay/hop and pop
followed by a long delay (solo) before doing any group work. Although
nobody seems to do this nowadays, personally I feel these are good
things to do and you might like to offer to do this so the CCI knows
you're switched on.
Hope this helps

One other thing I should have mentioned.
If your lay off has been due to any medical issue, you may want to
disclose this to your CCI and make sure you have a medical certificate
if necessary.
Cheers
