FS2
Lets kick off an old conversation.I want to see an FS2 qualification
come in to complement the exisiting FS1 grade.

FS2 is not a compulsory qualification which should be used to exclude
people from having fun. Its objective is to set a standard of
competance which can be used when a person rocks up to a dropzone and
wants to say what they are capable of. Important - FS2 is an achievment
based qualification and goes above safety set out in the FS1 programme.

So what should be in it.... I think it should be hard!

1. Take part in a 15-point random dive in time (35seconds) with a
minimum 4 different points.
2. Take part in a 8-point block dive in time (35seconds) with a
minimum 2 different blocks from the AA class.
3. Take part in a 6 point 8-way from the Intermediate class.
4. Take part in multi-airplane load with a minimum of 2 airplanes, a
minimum of 16-people and a minimum of 2 points completed.
5. Take part in a minimum completed 40-way.

It should be noted before anyone says this, that not all DZ's can
facilitate this grade being completed as with many other qualifications
where there are limited aircraft, events or coaches. But the idea of
this qualification is that the bar is set high. It will take you a
while to complete it.

So what do you think?
