OK, who can remember this pic ?
I would like to get hold if a pic I saw ages ages ago - possibly in "The
Mag" - but I am not sure. It may have actually been an advertisement.

I think the photographer was from the USA.

The scene was looking out of the back of a big 'tail gate' aircraft, like a
skyvan only I think it was bigger.

To the right of the picture was a free flyer on his knees in the door with
his back to the camera watching (I think) a big way building. It was the
only picture I have ever seen which truly took my breath away - and it
really did, its an awesome shot - and I would like to track it down if
anyone can remember where it was or knows anything about it.

Any offers ?

IIRC it was from the back of a Hercy Bird and I think it was the World Team
Meet in 2004.

Re: OK, who can remember this pic ?
It is Wendy Smith (in the picture, on her knees), and the picture is 2
pictures.

The view is of 3 Herc's, in formation (photographer in the 4th), and Wendy
on the tailgate, 2
completely separate pictures moulded into one.

It was World Team 2004, 357-way event.

The Tailgate/aircraft picture is Henny Wiggers from Holland, whether he took
both pictures I'm unsure.
www.theworldteam.com
www.parashoot.nl

Lesley or above web sites may have contact details, unsure whether Lesley or
Henny actually did the merge.
Very very good picture, but it seems we are making them up these days, but
that's another argument.

I hope this helps.

Gary

Thats the one ;-)

Aha a bit of photoshoppery eh, well, its a shame its a montage - the pic
above is pretty damn good anyway (although am wondering how much touching up
that has had now).

Will email Henny and Lesley, thanks for the leads Gary.

Cheers
