Green Force Info sought
Hi

Is anyone using the F3 Umbilical Torch with 250watt HID ? thinking of buying
this torch but would like any views first. Is it an over kill maybe, what
weight is it when using the goodmans handle? Is there a cheaper just as
good alternative. I do not use video, sometimes use a scooter so like the
idea of a free hand. Just like to hear views

Thanks

   Its not a 250W HID, its a 250 equivalent-Watt HID (i.e. comparable to
250W halogen). At best, it probably means 50W HID bulb. It might be a
good choice, or might be an overkill. Depending on 1) where you dive,
2) what lights do your buddies use. Where I live, umbilical HIDs tend
to tbe 21-24W range. 35W are now making their way into mainstream.
Very few people have 50W HID.
