PLEASE - need help finding kitten
Hello ... I live in California. I have a friend in London (the Notting
Hill area) who is disabled and extremely depressed, and desperately
needs a little friend. I know it would give him something to live for.
For the last month I have been trying to find a kitten for him ... but
I am disabled myself and my funds are very limited.

I think a ferret would be perfect too, but I don't have the money
either to get him a cage and everything he'd need for one.

My friend is so depressed and discouraged that it is very hard for him
to help me at all.

Here in the US we have kittens coming out of our ears ... I do rescue
work and could get him one here in an instant. But it would be
impossible to ship to the UK. I cannot find ANYTHING in London
(through the internet) for less than forty pounds (and those are rare)
.... which is pretty close to $80 here ... and I just don't have the
money.

The shelters there are great, but their adoption fees are still around
40 pounds, and I don't know that I could get a kitten even so.

If anyone had any suggestions for me, I would be ETERNALLY grateful.

Thank you,
Helen
