I wondered if the first time was a fluke but this time I ordered an Opticron 
8x30 Monocular yesterday afternoon on the internet and it's arrived, from 
Lincoln, this morning perfectly packed.
I have no connection with this firm other than being an amazed and delighted 
customer.

BTW if you haven't tried a Monocular don't knock it, lighter and smaller to 
carry, easier and quicker to use than binoculars (straight out of the 
pocket). My wife can't get on with Binoculars, all the adjusting by which 
time the birds flown, so these have proved ideal which is why a friends 
getting one for his birthday.
