Cherry trees
What size of bird has the wild cherry tree fruit evolved for?

Considering the size of stone which I presume is designed to pass through
the bird, I suppose a blackbird would pass it by, or just have a peck at it?
Perhaps a Mistle Thrush and larger, such as the crow family?

In our area, very little is seen of the Bird Cherry prunus padus, but the
"Wild Cherry" prunus avium seems to be showing in more and more areas,
such as neglected hedges.

I was wondering which bird species might have benefitted, then as I type,
the
wood pigeon, which has also increased noticeably, comes to mind.
