The Natural History Unit funding?
Hi,

This subject was brought up on the Autumnwatch forum and I wondered what
other people's thoughts are on this debacle!

My email to POV at the BBC is quoted below.

With reference to the above department and it's expected massacre of
funding, I would like to remind the BBC why I, my friends and relatives
watch the BBC in the first place. Flagship programmes over the past few
weeks and years such as the following spring to mind.

Springwatch with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble et al.

Autumnwatch with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble et al.

Series 1 and 2 of Coast

The Nature of Britain

The Life of Birds

The Life of Mammals

Life in the Undergrowth.

Saving Planet Earth.

Any DAVID ATTENBOROUGH production

Etc. Etc. Etc.

And of course, I watch the news.

For crying out loud, the BBC produces these fabulous ground breaking
programmes like no other organisation on this planet! Please do not let
our/your channel suffer from needless job cuts and an attitude such as your
competitors in order to dish out daily drivel.

Yours Sincerely.
