LOL!
I actually prefer its alternative name of stag's-horn clubmoss, as that
describes the way the cones grow in pairs, occasionally three, which
helps distinguish it from its relatives.

I've never looked at mosses before (I'm the animals person, Jenny's the
botanist!) and I can't find my 50 year old "Observer's book of Mosses &
Liverworts" Time for a new one, methinks!
Thanks again,

Hmm, you won't find clubmosses in that book, because just to be pedantic
(who me?), clubmosses are not mosses! They are pteridophytes, grouped
with horsetails and ferns, hence described in books on ferns, etc., or
in major floras.

Dear Michael,
with best wishes to you. I am from Bangladesh. I think the creeping
plant seems to be a species of Lycopodium . But I can't say you the
exact species.
