I realise that it is a very long shot, but I wondered if, just maybe, there was
someone here who knew of specific sites good for seeing dragonflies in the the
Maas, Schwalm and Niers area of north Germany.  Our daughter lives over there
and, on our behalf, contacted the dragonfly society for the
Northrhine-Westphalia region.  When she didn`t get a reply from them, she tried
the national Dragonfly Society "of German-speaking peoples" (I think that is how
it translates).  She didn`t hear from them either.  Before I contact the British
Dragonfly Society, I thought it might be worth asking this NG.  Otherwise, can
anyone tell me where I can get free *regional* maps of that area online,
please?  I have found satellite photos, but, without place names, they are
useless.

Not a good time to be trying to contact dragonfly experts!  The World Dragonfly Association 
symposium was 16th-20th April in Namibia and I would expect that most European delegates will have 
taken a couple of weeks holiday whilst they were there and then return to a backlog of calls and 
emails.

Not a good time to be trying to contact dragonfly experts!  The World Dragonfly Association 
symposium was 16th-20th April in Namibia and I would expect that most European delegates will have 
taken a couple of weeks holiday whilst they were there and then return to a backlog of calls and 
emails.

Not a good time to be trying to contact dragonfly experts!  The World Dragonfly Association 
symposium was 16th-20th April in Namibia and I would expect that most European delegates will have 
taken a couple of weeks holiday whilst they were there and then return to a backlog of calls and 
emails.
