Red squirrels
As a new subscriber to this group, I feel it's my duty to steer the
conversation away from the perceived benefits of veggieism versus
omnivorism. To that end, here's some information about a red squirrel
walk which is happening in Carmarthenshire at the end of the month
(message is bilingual):

Dewch i goedwig Bryn Arau Duon (ger Cwrt-y-cadno) Ddydd Sadwrn 30 Medi
am 11 y.b. gyda Phrosiect Gwiwerod Coch y Canolbarth
Byddwn yn cwrdd yn y man parcio ger y fynedfa i'r goedwig - SN723464
- Trowch ger fferm Bwlch-y-rhiw lan yr heol serth, a dilyn yr heol
i'r chwith am tua 200 metr i'r man cwrdd.
Bydd y daith yn cael ei harwain gan goedwigwr a naturiaethwr lleol a
chawn weld cynefin y wiwer goch, dysgu am ei chadwraeth ac efallai weld
gwiwer goch wyllt. Cofiwch ddod a bwyd a diod a gwisgo dillad ag
esgidiau priodol.

Join the Mid Wales Red Squirrel Project on Saturday 30th September,
11.00 a.m. for a walk in Bryn Arau Duon Forest (north of Pumsaint)
Meet at the lay-by/parking place near entrance to the forest, at approx
SN723464 -Turn at Bwlch y Rhiw up the steep forestry road and follow
road to left after a few metres. Carry on for 200 metres to lay-by .
Find out more about red squirrels in Mid Wales, why they have declined
and the issues involved in their conservation. After a drive into the
woodlands enjoy a walk in red squirrel habitat. Will we see any? Come
along and find out! Bring lunch and suitable footwear.
