Is Alphagraphix still in business and is there a website where I can buy their products
.... other than Moduni in Germany, which seems to be a great site, but
they are continually out of stock of the models in which I have an
interest. I am working on the assumption that a .uk site would have
them as I am in the .us dot-com land I would also appreciate some
reviews by modellers who have actually made the kits.... I know card
kits are a different beast...

International Hobbies of Auburn California, carries them.

http://www.interhobmodels.com/id2.html

It's run by Dick Gilman, who is definitely one of the good guys.

If you live on the West Coast he attends many of the major shows
including O-Scale West.

The models are what you would expect from card kits - IMO some of the
details are printed flat, and they need reinforcing, but you can
produce some good buildings from them.

They're inexpensive you it doesn't cost much to buy one and see what
you think.

I've only built their O-scale buildings but they do them for OO as
well.

You don't say what scale you model, but there are other equally good
card kits from..

http://www.superquick.co.uk/ (4mm), been around a long time, generic)

http://www.3dk.org.uk/ (7mm)

http://www.scalescenes.com/ (download and print, free samples)

Prototype Models (4mm, no web site))

And a few others I can't remember.
