I thought I would write to say that a very good modeller and friend, Ernie 
Wheeler of  Chesterton Stoke on Trent died earlier this week at the age of 
72.

He was a member of the Clayton model aircraft club and later the Spitfires 
club. He was a very active modeller to the end. I knew him all my life on 
and off and I know he will be greatly missed by many friends and modellers 
in N. Staffordshire and beyond.
