WWI Comic German Pilot
I have just finished a GP Big Stik 40. I have converted it to a taildragger
and would like to rig it up to look like a comical eindecker.

A few years back I remember there used to be a model pilot figure depicting
a comical WWI german pilot complete with spiked helmet.

Does anyone know if you can still get him and if so, where from (in UK
please).

Thanks,

Nigel

Hi Nigel

I don't know whether or not it is the one you mean, but J Perkins do a
WW1 German pilot with spiked helmet - there is a picture of him on
<http://aabt.co.uk/snaccessories-382.htm> The web page doesn't
actually state which pilot he is, but according to an old JP catalogue
I have, he is the "1/6 SCALE GOLDEN YEARS GERMAN ref:5508294".
