UK Clubs, Groups & Fly-Togethers?
I'm interested in any gatherings or clubs in the Birmingham area.
Anyone know of any or any websites with such info?
(I'm a helicopetr starter..)
Cheers

Re: UK Clubs, Groups & Fly-Togethers?
Hi Pete,
Have you tried the British Model Flyers Association website (www.bmfa.org) ?
As this will give a list of any clubs that are registered with them in your
Area.
Hope this helps.

I have looked at this site and hey there are about 9 clubs around
Brum-ish listed though a number have their fields well out side.
Sadly the south brum clubs (I am south west) have no links or contacts
:(
Maybe I'll put up a South Brum request on the NG in a few days after
this post has died.
I suppose I could try and instigate a weekend gathering for newbies
like me (doubt I could organise a club) this side of the city.
(B31-ish).
It's odd that for this larger city (1.2 Mil populations or 12 Mil in
the conurbation) and with sooo much green space there are so few RC
flying groups..

Yes and I appreciated your response.

Cheers Peter,
That club is certainly closer than most others but sadly too far out
for me to get to on a regular basis..
However I'll check out their diary to see if they have any special
events I might be able to get to once in a while.
Thank you.

Nice link Ron. They look like they have a strong forum from what I
saw.
Thanks for this.

>Hope this helps.
Yes and I appreciated your response.

You could also ask the http://www.rcmf.co.uk/ , bmfa and

Cheers Peter,
That club is certainly closer than most others but sadly too far out
for me to get to on a regular basis..
However I'll check out their diary to see if they have any special
events I might be able to get to once in a while.
Thank you.
