Laser 120 V
I have recently acquired a laser 120 V (well, he says it is a 120), and am
about to try starting it - it's installed in a a plane already. The engine
is quite old and had that wonderful, but in my opinion somewhat
inappropriate for a 4c, smell of old castor (go on then, all together,
"ahhh"). I have run fresh fuel through it (laser 4 stroke (yup, with some
castor) and spun it over. Now, before I try to add flames and get it to
burst into life, is there anything I ought to know about these beasts??
I know the basics about lasers from my own laser single cylinders - like,
they are great, they never fail, they always run and run etc etc. But are
there any hints and tips for the V twins??

Re: Laser 120 V
Might I suggest you first check out
http://www.laserengines.com/instructions.htm where general instructions
are located. I'm sure you can fine somewhere how to fine-tune the twin
carbs. I'm running a Laser .70 as well as a 1.2 and they are both superb
engines!
