super tiger 3000 pusher
Hi
I intend to build rc delta wing model with a pusher engine.
I want to install there a super tiger 3000
if you have an experience with that kind of engine in the aft part of the
model (pusher)
I'll be happy to hear about it.
and what prop did you use??
Tnx

its going to be a flipping big delta and can you get pusher props that big?
the only pusher deltas I have played with are small electric jobs that
you hand launch

Re: super tiger 3000 pusher
Don't know if you've considered the old trick of turning the front
housing 90 deg (so the carb is on the side - same side as exhaust) to
get a clockwise rotation engine? I would however use a second prop lock
nut if going this route. Performance may be slightly down on normal, but
with a 3000 I don't think that will be a problem! You can of course then
use normal tractor props fitted backwards.

Simply remove the four allen screws which hold the front housing to the
main crankcase. Loooking from the prop nut end, turn the front housing
anti clockwise 90deg and re-bolt together, job done, you don't even have
to take it apart.

Simply remove the four allen screws which hold the front housing to the
main crankcase. Loooking from the prop nut end, turn the front housing
anti clockwise 90deg and re-bolt together, job done, you don't even have
to take it apart.

As long as it has a removable front housing, I used the trick first with
an OS 40 FSR in the 80's
