ML7 Motor Wiring
I have an ML7 with a Compton Parkinson single phase motor with J59
stamped on it, 1440 rpm 1/3 hp. The terminals are A, Z, AZ and T.

When connecting Live to AZ and Neutral to A the motor will spin in
either direction i push it. Can anyone tell me the connection for the
direction windings.

thanks very much

It will start in one direction with the Z-T winding in parallel with
AZ-A winding. Swap Z and T over and it will run in the other direction.
