I am looking for someone within about 50 miles of Nottingham who is
able and willing to repair a vintage foot pump.  The job entails,
among other things, making and fitting a catch to keep the pump in the
closed position when not in use.

Any suggestions, anyone?  But please don't tell me to go to Halfords
and buy a new pump!

Be careful - there are one or two dodgy characters from Nottingham area 
who have been known to frequent these parts! LOL
Typical, there is never a cynical trader round here when you want one!
