What do ya reckon?
Ok well the stick swinging bug has hit me & entered my sytem after a few
years of dorment non activity & no machine. So here I am again a few years
down the line re-living the torment of what machine to opt for...

My breif but very last machine I tried was a BH Sharpshooter II, I didn't
or couldn't get on with this machine through failing eyesight which made the
small lcd meters vertually useless to me & worst still the constant chatter
from the detector, Which for a decrepid old bugger like me trying to dig the
minimum of crap not very pleasant & knackering. Although Im not poo pooing
the BH SSII, Its just It wasent suited to me has I didnt give it a fare
chance really. But anyhow,,,I Was proberbly spoiled by remembering my
beloved silent no spit unless shit "Laser B1 High Power+Boost" I thought as
well as many others at the time the best mid range machine for farmland...
But not the best for differentiating between signals admitted

Anyhow as of now My prioroties have changed now. I hope that has a few
years have passed since dabbling n swinging the stick...That some
improvements have come forward in detector performance?

My biggest priority I would like is constsisant Target ID accuracy, with a
numeric value. Two recent machine that have caught my eye are Minlab X-Terra
50 or the newer Fisher F4 both having a notch/discrim accept reject numeric
number sytem..... Depth performance isnt an issue anymore to me I just want
a machine to be as accurate/consistant as possible....

The fisher is cheaper then the minelab - suprise suprise lol,,, So putting
it in a nutshell,,, im looking for great iron masking & great target
ID...

Any thought on my choices? or any other suggested machines I should look at?
I dont want to spend more than £350 new or used.....

Thanks in advance for any replies.................Gizzard

Re: What do ya reckon?
It's gotta be the Minelab. I've got the Explorer 2 and it's a superb
machine. Great digital display and very accurate. Like all machines you have
to learn to trust it and not dig every signal. I recently dug 40 holes and
found 40 coins.
