Re: 136 people jailed for possession of cannabis in 2005

Cannabis also doesn't cause long-term psychoses. Cannabis (even smoked) does
not seem to increase the rates of cancer, emphysema or heart disease, as does
tobacco. The only medical condition so far positively associated with
cannabis that has been verified enough to be certain is bronchitis.

Cannabis use does not increase death rates.

How doth the little crocodile
    Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
    On every golden scale!

How cheerfully he seems to grin,
    How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
    With gently smiling jaws!
