CANNABIS LIVE 1
Instead of having pop concerts for starving third world countrys .
How about having some pop concerts that promote and support cannabis
being allowed to be sold over the counter and regulated in the same way
that alcohol is .
Would the bbc transmit the live concert ? .

The Daily Mail could sponsor it.

They did have legalise Cannabis campaigns and gigs in the 1980's
usually paid for by the then GLC when it was run by Ken Livingstone.
They weren't very impressive affairs. I went to one in Brixton that
consisted of some fat bloke on a couple of decks playing dodgy Reggae,
a very large and intimidating Police presence and some rasta's
wandering around selling fake "erb". Still, the original intention was
good.
The battle now seems to be against those mofo's who want to reclassify
puff to class B again and no amount of free gigs is going to change
their closed little minds. Anyway, can you really imagine "Boneo" and
"Gandelph" organising a global music event in aid of Cannabis
acceptance? it would never happen as they are both pillars of the
establishment now and would never do anything that might jeopardize
their careers as self worshipping, arse licking, political wannabees.
Oh, and I include "Stink" in the above diatribe.

How would it be in their remit?
I suppose there is an argument that they should reflect
the cultural life of the islands and the Live Earth do,
for all that it has since been called a flop, was really
a worldwide event.
Part of the problem here seems to be the inextricability
of cannabis from the whole gamut of drug use (alcohol
and tobacco not counted); I tried to maintain a cannabis
only lifestyle in terms of recreational drug use, maybe
punctuated with the odd bit of LSD at infrequent and
irregular intervals, but it's impracticable as things
stand now, and all you get for it is the mickey taken:
"druggies" don't want to know you because it makes them
paranoid that you don't uncritically put anything they
enthuse about in your system like they do, and non-druggies
just consider you're a druggie.
I'd be more tempted to more to Denmark than The Netherlands,
but at the end of the day why should I feel as though I have
to move anywhere?
There's plenty of entirely legal things that change the
make-up your mind that I don't do--like playing chess,
and being religious.
