What is this called?
Does this particular way of crafting cards have a name? I often make my own
cards and would like to try it. Many thanks!

Yes it is stitching cards. The one you show comes from a Kit. Usually
four in a packet.
Just type stitching cards into google and you will come up with a few
sites.
There are free designs to down load. There are two on my website that I
have made. Not my designs I might add, have done them from patterns in
books I have purchased. They are under other crafts

I've seen it sold in kits as 'Form a Lines'

There are a couple of good books on it with titles something like 'Stitching
on Paper'.

Thank you very much for all your replies! I will be able to search online
for patterns now and will have a look at what books are available.

Shirley, I had a look at your site, you are a very talented lady! Oh, and
you have a lovely back yard - you're obviously green-fingered too!

Thanks Tracey,
I am afraid my backyard looks nothing like the pictures today.
The heavy rain took it toll last year and plants died. The trellis work
rotted and DH had to take it down. So we lost the creepers and Ivies.
When it get warmer we will be planning it for a low maintenance garden
since we are both in our seventies.
I will have to replace the pictures when the new garden is finished.

Oh no, that's a shame. Good luck with your new garden though!
