I am looking for acrylic / plastic mirrors suitable for building
Kaleidoscopes. Any one out there know where they may be purchased.
Or at a pinch, front silvered glass, that could be cut to order.

Don't know about suitability - you'll have to decide that!
Both companies are Education suppliers but I've bought from them.

Thanks Elaine, I have ordered some sheets from the mutr website. I hope
they are front silvered, but the description was a bit vague.

If you're successful will you be selling kaleidoscopes at the Rhug - I
love kaleidoscopes!! (especially nowadays with all the lovely sparkly
twinkly bits available)
Are whisky bottle tubes any use to you? We have quite a lot of empties
which I don't like to throw away as they're bound "to come in useful
one day".

Thanks, but no. At least, not yet, as I am just starting to design ( read
that as totally knacker ) various kits, trying to figure out what and how to
make them. I have designed two Kaleidoscopes which will be shown, plus some
new broaches, which I call, "Neo Celtic". You can see them for the first
time Rhug on the first Sunday the sixth. Are you coming?

I'm not sure, Child is coming down from Newcastle that weekend (I make
the big six zero on the 7th) - but I'll give her a backdoor key if
she's off gallivanting and pop down.
<show-off mode>
I sent in photo entries to the Wonder of Wool competition
(www.wonderwoolwales.co.uk) at the Woolfest type show in Builth Wells,
19/20th May.
Had a letter this am - not won but they would like them for display
over the weekend.
