Recommendations for fabric paints on dark fabrics?
Hi, I have a question about fabric paints, hope someone can help out! I
co-own a small clothing company called Avalanche Kittie - we hand-paint
shirts with various designs, you can see the sort of thing on our Ebay
listings at the address below.

So far, we have been using a brand called Setacolor for our dark shirts
- we experimented with several other brands including Dylon, and out of
them all Setacolor seem best for use on dark fabrics. A lot of paints
designed for dark fabrics hardly worked, particularly yellow paints.
I just wondered, does anyone know of a brand which will cover dark
fabrics effectively in one coat? Perhaps we should use silk screening
inks instead? Bear in mind we do not want to use silk screening or any
other mass-producing technique, we paint each design on to the shirts
by hand because we like the idea of every shirt being a one-off with
somr randomness involved! Even the Setacolor Opaque paints tend to take
2-3 good coats before the base fabric no longer shows through, which
really slows the process down.
Any info/help would be most appreciated!
