Mouldy paintings!
Hi Folks,
I'm sure some of you people must be painters and use acrylics? Well I
have a problem with mine. I haven't been selling my paintings for a
couple of years due to "life" intervening! Anyway recently I got out
those that had been packed away during this time and was horrified to
find black mould growing on some.

I attempted to wash it off but the paint flaked off with it.

Any ideas about how this could be prevented? The paintings hadn't been
varnished BTW, do you think this would help?

(My watercolours are ok!).

cheers
Eliza.
