How it Works: The Computer
How it Works: The Computer

Two of us are researching the history of this Ladybird book. For many years
there has been a rumour that a special edition of it was produced in plain
covers, and we are trying to get to the bottom of it.

Do you have a copy of the book that isn't in the same covers as the two
standard editions? You can see the standard covers at
http://davidguy.brinkster.net/computer/

Have you heard the rumour about the special edition?

If so when did you first hear it?

And where did you hear it from?

If you can give us names and addresses, email or otherwise, of the person
who told you about it, or copies of any letters or newspaper articles you
picked it up from (with dates) that will be even more useful still.

But even if you can't name names or point to a piece of paper, please tell
us when and where you heard about it, and give us the fullest account of
what you heard or read.
