Another 2007 coin.
Another 2007 coin has appeared in change, namely the 20p.
No great surprise in the run up to Christmas.
I have had a report of the Slavery £2 as well, which is now
illustrated on my website.

Only the 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p so far. Nothing in the larger denoms at all.

I reported both £2 coins a couple of weeks ago. No sign of the plain
jane £2 as yet though.
The 20p coin has been in circulation since end of october. The 1p , 2p,
5p, and 10p have been available in pocket change for some time now.
I haven't seen the £1 or 50p coins yet though

Two £1 coins received in change yesterday. Still no £2 or 50p.

Interesting. I have had plenty of new £1 coins, but they have all been
2006 NI 'Arch' coins.

Like you I have seen in the shop I work at in Inverness plenty of new
2006 £1 coins, but today I had my first (and only) 2007 coin. Judging
by the knocks it had been in circulation for a little while. However,
until a better condition one comes along, it has now gone into my
collection.

Further to my last, I today received TWO "300 anniversary" £2 coins in
change at one of our local Wetherspoon pubs.
As I see it, that now closes my 2007 coin collecting as I shall not be
spending anymore money today and 2008 starts tomorrow which as it
happens has one more collecting day than 2007...
... and A Happy New Year to all my readers. May 2008 bring fruit to
your own collections.

Re: Another 2007 coin.
At last!! Yesterday I managed to find in change at the shop a second
(better condition) 2007 £1 coin, AS WELL AS a "plain jane" £2 coin. I
was beginning to wonder whether these were ever going to come out.
All that remains to find now are the 2007 50p coins. Judging by the
amount of new lower denomination coins about these should be around
quite soon.
