Recycling Vegetable Oil
After being told off for pouring my cooking oil into the oil bank at
my local recycling centre (well, it's oil!), I had a look to see what
other options there are for disposal.
http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/home/environment/recycling/factsheets/oil.htm
mentions making bird cakes. Not sure about a runny cake .....
What about soaking bread in vegetable oil, would that make a
reasonable way of feeding the birdies? Anything I could do to solidify
the oil for feeding use?

Re: Recycling Vegetable Oil
I make bird puddings with various oils and fats and I add about 50% volume
of melted beef dripping and it sets fine
