Islay turbine project
ScottishPower has identified chosen the Sound of Islay to test sea
turbines which could power thousands of homes.

They have been working on the Lanstrom device, which is said to be one
of the world's most advanced tidal turbines.

The sites would host up to 60 of the turbines, generating power for a
large village.

While they insist that birds will be unaffected, I have my doubts.

But what is really worrisome is the effects of the construction on the
island here. Similar projects have in the past brought untold misery
to the locals, and ruined the dream of those who have retired to
beautiful places. It's not merely the increased traffic, but the huge
influx of labour bringing gambling, drugs, syphilis and atheism, and
raping local women and even girls and boys.

You sound like a religious drama queen.
Nothing wrong with being an atheist, it's the dirty old
vicars and priests who can hide behind their cassocks, while
all the time, many are paedophiles. Another dirty vicar was
caught last week with 50,000 images of the most disgusting
kiddy torture pictures ever seen.

Fortunately the atheism will help counter all those ills you have
listed before and after it. As you will see when you visit:

No-one, but no-one is exempt from the Rule. You *will* cease posting
here. Just trust me on this one.

Refusal to cease dawking noted.

This is a clear and present danger to demon.local.

Don't say you weren't warned. Now you must take the consequences. I
trust you will accept them in a manly, stiff-upper-lipped fashion,
without mewling or bawling, without puking in panic, without recourse
to prayer. Just as we took the strap from the Christian Brothers.

demon.local is not a "web site"

We take things very seriously--nay, stringently--here in demon.local

Why, we've been known to "plonk" a stray poster, or two, merely for their
impulsive x-posting fuckwittery. Our software handles such incidentals,
magnificently.

demon.local is a robust wibble group, and we don't take kindly to outsiders
imposing their sense of order on things.

Get with the Program, or FOAD.

I'm about to plonk the troll but I'll give him one last chance before
the clock *really* starts ticking.
After that, I'll set the dogs on him. Then the Hereford boys. Then
Craig. Then Ben. Then JK. And finally, I'll get Chrith Hill to pay him
a visit. He should be afarid, very afarid.
We are dl. We are robots. Robost, I mean.

We're immune to such bandying-about of religiosity.

Were it but true that the general populace was cognizant of the fruits of NNTP.

Alas, this relegates such activity to a statistically-insignificant dollop of
abhorrence, swirling in the septic systems of small--yet highly successful--ISPs.

Like Demon, for instance.
