Completely dead Ford 2006R radio - A common fault?
Hi all,

I've been trying to fit a Ford 2006R radio (originally from a Ford
Galaxy) into a Sierra. I've used an ISO loom adaptor and all the
wiring is correct, but I can't get the thing to power up at all. The
original fuse had blown, but the radio still didn't come on after the
fuse was replaced (nor did it blow again).

It's frustrating, as the radio was originally working. Is this a
common fault on this radio? I don't have a problem with lifting the
lid and fixing it, but as it belongs to a friend I thought I'd ask
here first before looking inside!

TIA,
Gary
