Phillips CCR600 Protocol
Hi,

CAn anyone please point me at where I might find details of the
protocols used between this unit and the cd changer (and display)?

Or technical details of the protocols it might be using?

I have a scope and an LSA - but they aren't going to be a lot of use
without a changer for the thing to talk to..

Re: Phillips CCR600 Protocol
Some interesting hits on a Google search.
Are you trying to scratch-build a digital interface?

Many thanks, I hadn't tried searching on "CDC" as I (still) don't know
what protocol the CCR600 uses. But this search has turned up a lot of
interesting stuff.

Yes, I am thinking about linking the unit out. The actual hardware
interface is going to be pretty trivial, a few measurements will
determine what is needed. However, the higher levels of the protocol
stack are going to be a "challenge".

I'm not convinced it is worth the effort and may just fit a replacement
radio, with USB, flash card and MP3 CD all in the thing itself.
