additive for water feature to prevent green water
Hi,

I was once told that if I add Milton fluid to my water feature it would
prevent the water from turning green in the sun. I was wondering if this
works & if so what sort of concentration do i need to use?

Milton is a stable solution of sodium hypochlorite. Sodium hypochlorite is a
chemical which is highly effective against bacterial organisms and spores.
When in contact with protein, it breaks down to form:

So basically chlorine?

Shouldn't need much - I presume the water feature doesn't feed into a pond
that you have fish in???
